Golden Raspberry Seeds

Golden raspberries are a real treat although relatively rare. The mother plant these seeds came from produce some of my favorite tasting raspberries. We are not certain which variety of golden raspberry the mother plant is. There are several varieties of golden raspberries out there in circulation. This mother plant produces delicious golden berries all summer long.

When growing from seed each plant will be unique. I have not grown these from seed yet and so I am unsure what percent of the offspring may produce golden raspberries. I am going to be growing out some of this seed in 2025 so we will soon learn. Take part in this experiment with me if you would like! The next great golden raspberry variety could be waiting in these seeds! We won't know until we try! 

Each pack comes with a minimum of 100 seeds. Our seeds are packed in moist sand and stored in the fridge. They will benefit from further stratification after you receive your seeds. We have planted some out this fall to stratify outdoors here at the nursery. These seed have not been dried out at any point in processing and handling. Be sure to stay on top of weeding early in the season, these are small seeds making the young plants sensitive. Please keep us posted if you grow out this seed, we are eager to see how they do!
