Bare root tree shipping has begun! We try to prioritze shipping to northern folks first

Orders for warmer climates ship out in the order they were placed.

We anticipate getting all current orders shipped by the middle of December.

We will not ship during the last 2 weeks of December to avoid peak holiday traffic.

Shipping will begin again in January weather permitting.

Living Soil Tree Farm is a human scale plant nursery focused on food
producing perennials and collaborative plant breeding. Our work is diverse but
we focus on growing bare root trees/shrubs and diverse seed populations.

We are grateful to have started this nursery project on our beautiful family farm in Cedar Grove NC on the ancestral lands of the Mánu: Yį Įsuwą (Catawba), Shakori, Saponi, Cheraw, Occaneechi peoples.

In 2024 moved most of the operation to South Western Virginia. The majority of our propagation now takes place in Bassett on the ancestral lands of the Yesan (Tutelo), Mánu: Yį Įsuwą (Catawba) Saponi, Cheraw, Occaneechi peoples. .

We do our best to provide extremely healthy plants and seeds while using land management techniques which improve the health of our ecosystem. We can offer delivery to Roanoke, Blacksburg, Martinsville, Danville, Floyd, Rocky Mount, and other locations within a reasonable distance. Reach out to if you have delivery questions.
